Gang Show
Tony Guy has done so much for the Scout Movement with his passionate involvement in Gang Shows for over 55 years. Giving youngsters (and oldsters) their first (or maybe last) chance to experience the feeling of performing in front of a live audience, creating memories that last a lifetime for both the performers and the audiences who go to watch.
- 1961 founder and producer of the Blackpool Gang Show
- 1967 produced the Warrington Gang Show
- 1969 founder and producer of the North East Lancashire Gang Show (NELS)
- 1971 founder and producer of the Warwickshire Gang Show (WAGS)


During his time as producer the show played at the Royal Spa Centre Leamington Spa; The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford upon Avon; and a Circus Big Top erected especially for the show at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham. In 1982 Tony took the show to Dallas and Fort Worth in Texas, USA.
Tony also invited many celebrities to come and see WAGS perform including
- The Princess Royal, Princess Anne
- David Icke (then professional footballer and TV presenter)
- Sarah Douglas (Superman II)
- Graham Chapman (Monty Python) who also performed on stage during the show
- Alvin Stardust, Alvin actually performed a selection of songs every night at the Big Top show
- Russ Abbott (TV comedian)
- Richard Hammond of Top Gear fame is a former WAGS Gang member
